The results of several studies will be used to present how dialogic reading and vocabulary games can be used to increase young dual language learners’ oral language and vocabulary skills. This session will teach and review the process of dialogic reading and the use of vocabulary games through video demonstration and group interaction. The use of research will be utilized to examine how these language and literacy strategies can be implemented in classrooms to build oral language and vocabulary skills, especially with diverse learners.
