Promoting Young Children’s Social-Emotional Development and Positive Behavior
This session will use a multi-tiered system of support framework to present effective practices for promoting young children’s (ages 3-5 years old) social-emotional learning and positive behaviors. Additionally, strategies for embedding these practices to support children’s social-emotional learning and positive behavior within every day learning activities will be highlighted.
Social-emotional learning and development is important for all children and their families. This presentation will use a variety of instructional strategies for sharing practices that practitioners can use to support young children’s social-emotional learning and positive behaviors. Using illustrations and case examples, participants will engage in interactive activities.
